ready to get a custom preset? here are the steps that you’ll need to take to begin our creative process together!

I have a specially crafted google form with questions that will help guide you towards letting me know what you’re looking for a in preset.
It’s a little long, but feel free to go into as much (or as little!) detail as you’d like. The more information you give me, the better shot I’d have at creating something perfect for you! -
After you’ve submitted your form, send me a DM on Discord (Alessa#1043)! This will be our main means of communication and I’ll be sending all updates here.
At this stage, I’ll also be checking to see if you’d like to send me your character dat / chara / cma file, or a screenshot of the character creation screen so I can get a good idea of the skintone & coloring. -
All pictures of your preset will be sent via discord. I’ll usually take a couple of test shots at different times of the day / weather conditions.
This would be the best time to provide feedback and let me know if you’d like anything to be tweaked. -
once you’re happy with the way your preset looks, payment can be made via my ko-fi. once this is done, I’ll zip everything up and send it to you.
note: requests are not always first come, first served.
i might choose to decline your request for various reasons (eg i don’t think i can do your request justice / i don’t have the time etc). if this happens, please feel to modify your request or try again another time.

the price of a custom preset depends on the complexity of what you’re looking for. On average, the price starts at $3 USD, and this includes special textures / light effects and an optional simple border.
if you’d like a very specific texture / light effect / custom watercolor clipart elements, or a detailed custom border (eg the ones used in my fairytale collection) this will incur an additional cost.
i’ll let you know the total cost once i get an idea of what you’re looking for.
payment is to be made at the end only after you’ve approved the preset design. if the preset is not to your liking, you can choose to cancel the order and i’ll release it on my ko-fi store instead.

Yes, you can share your preset with anyone you’d like. this includes your partner, bffs, fc mates, etc. in fact, if you’d like to make it public or a server exclusive on my server, i’ll give you a 50% discount.

the long and short of it is that it probably will look best in the zone that i create your preset in. i like making stylized presets of a certain aesthetic. this means that i need to edit the original color palettes and lighting of the base game. since some zones look completely different from others, your preset will not look the same everywhere.
i recommend you listing your favorite zones so that i can travel to these specific places and make sure that your preset looks good there, and make any necessary tweaks.

i would recommend that you send me your main OC’s dat / chara file and any essential makeup mods / tattoos that you use. this is so that i can design your preset based on your character and their unique skintone & coloring. all modpacks / character files will be deleted once i’m done.
alternatively, you can send me a screenshot of your character; preferably in the character creation screen so that i can import the same skintone and hair / eye / lip colors on my own character.
you only need to do this once we’re done discussing the details. please don’t send this to me before i confirm that i can accept your request!

custom for poppy | based on a similar pink & feminine aesthetic as the petals collection, but brighter. Was designed specifically to work in areas with lots of flowers and perform well at night.
custom for poppy | a white border with a mauve lace detail was added to make the photo subject pop
custom for poppy | moderate color fidelity gives a gentle pastel softness to the striking natural color tones of il mheg
custom for poppy | pink fairy lights add a different look to this preset by nightfall. the lighting was adjusted to keep the subject illuminated, but with a romantic softness
custom for aya | a red / pink shader specifically tailored to work against the ocean hues in the shisui of the violet tides. rose-toned rainbow light leaks were added along with pink bokeh sparks.
custom for aya | a variant of the violet tides shader where the color palette was tweaked to fit the cherry blossom blooms of namai. heart bokeh lights were added instead for a soft, feminine touch
custom for aya | the same shader takes on a different, slightly more muted & pensive aesthetic on a cloudy day

custom for reshina | a very soft & ethereal preset with the prettiest pastel tones and rainbow light effects.
custom for reshina | soft focus for the background gives this preset an extremely dreamy aesthetic, with the depth of field being adjusted to complement the rainbow light leaks.
custom for reshina | the color palette was specially adjusted around the purple tones of lakeland, to get that perfect cool pink and soft blue tones.
custom for reshina | a soft focus was requested for the photo subjects, so they both have clear and distinct features but with a glossy touch
Custom for Reshina | an adorable pastel preset that specifically works well at night, as well as in the day time.

you may edit your preset to your liking, but please do not reupload it anywhere and claim that it is your own creation.

even if you edit it, please do not put your custom preset up for sale by itself, or as part of any mod package.
if you are a gpose photographer though, you may use the preset i create for you for paid work (gil only) for your clients. -
nsfw lalafell content makes me very uncomfortable, so please do not involve any of my creations (custom / public) for such screenshots.

Okay, the caveat is that if you want to use my preset textures with a preset by a different creator (you, or anyone else), personal use is fine.
but please do not create your own preset, use my texture and reupload it as your own work!
all of my textures are created using resources that i paid for or designed myself.
